Condolence: Leo will be sincerely missed by all who knew him. He was a dedicated Police Officer and a kind and gentle person who had a smile for everyone. I now think back of all the great conversations and stories we shared at the Sayreville PD. Now that he has fulfilled life's journey May He Rest In Peace.

Your friend & Co-Worker, Edward Szkodny

Condolence: I am saddened to hear that Leo Farley has passed away. While I believe he is in a better place, at peace and free of suffering and pain, I will miss him at the Rutgers tailgates. I first met Leo at a Rutgers football game many years ago, and since then he has been an indispensable member of our home game tailgates. He even has an oven, “The Leo,” named for him because of his distinguished status, and also the fact that he donated the money for the purchase. Leo wore big a smile at every game even when we knew he was not feeling his best. It was a pleasure to talk to Leo; he always had an interesting story to share. Whenever a fellow police officer, current or former, would attend our tailgate, Leo would light up. He was very proud of his service to Sayreville as a police officer and his stories were of particular interest when he spoke of his former service.

My deepest sympathy is with Joanne and Fred.

I will certainly miss your Dad. We all will miss him.

Condolence: My sincerest sympathies to the family on their loss. I went to school with Leo and remember him as a gentle person and having a nice smile. Later in life I knew him as a police officer and he was still and gentle and kind person. May he find peace in heaven and be again united with Joan.

Condolence: My deepest sympathy and prayers at this great loss. Leo..always with a smile and always a gentle man who gave so much to so many, especially the youth of OLV as their basketball coach. I have fond memories of our time together and the support he always gave to every activity on or off the court. May he rest peacefully in the arms of our Blessed Mother.
In prayer,
