Dorothy A. Kalinowski, age 83, of Newark, passed away peacefully on Saturday August 21, 2016 at the JFK Hartwyck Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was a loving caregiver who would spare no expense to take care of her family. A lifelong resident of Newark, she would later work for Bristol Mayer Squibb as a Factory Worker.

She is predeceased by her parents Henry and Rose Kalinowski and her sister Anna Pennington. Surviving are her brother Henry Kalinowski Jr, her nieces Laura Onifer with her husband Martin, Patricia Gregus with her husband Thomas, her nephews Walter Pennington with his wife Karen and Michael Pennington. Also surviving are her great niece Sara Onifer, and her great nephews Jacob and Dalton Onifer and Matthew, Christopher, Tyler, and Nicholas Pennington.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday 10:45am from the Maliszewski Memorial Home 121 Main Street Sayreville followed by a 11am mass at Saint Stanislaus Kostka R. C. Church in Sayreville with burial to follow at Hollywood Memorial Park Cemetery.
