Obituary for Robert J Kimmel Sr.
Sayreville
Robert J. Kimmel Sr., age 86 of Sayreville, passed away Saturday July 9, 2016 in Rochester NY. Born in Baltimore Maryland, he had resided in Sayreville for 64 years. Before his retirement, Bob worked as a Consumer Investigator for the NJ Department of Consumer Affairs for over 20 years. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Victories RC Church in Sayreville.
He is predeceased by his parents William and Grace Kimmel, first wife Audrey Brown Kimmel, his grandsons John K. Kimmel and Justin L. Jenkins-Hausmann, his sister Adele Boone and his step son Keith Kotun.
Surviving are his second wife Luanne Kimmel, his eleven children Marie Weinman, Robert J. Kimmel Jr., John “Jack” Kimmel, Paul T. Kimmel, Virginia Kimmel, Margaret M. Miller, James W. Kimmel, Rosemary Hausmann, Kenneth M. Kimmel, Daniel M. Kimmel, Melissa A. Herman, 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday 8:45am from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane Parlin, with a 9:45am mass to follow at Our Lady of Victories RC Church in Sayreville. A private cremation will follow.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be Tuesday from 4pm to 8pm.
