Anna C. Wojtaszek age 94 of Sayreville passed away Tuesday May 10, 2016 at Brandywine Senior Living in Shrewsbury. Born in Freeland, Pennsylvania she has resided in Sayreville for the past 65 years. Anna was an award winning artist who proudly had her artwork displayed in several Sayreville locations including at Saint Stanislaus Kostka Church. She was a communicant of Saint Stanislaus Kostka and was a former member of the Rosary Society.

She is predeceased by her first husband John S. Balon in 1966 her second husband Walter Wojtaszek in 2010 and her son John S. Balon Jr. 2003. Surviving are her daughter Barbara Balon-Pozai and her husband Peter of Sayreville, her daughter in law Susan Balon of Delaware, her grandchildren Lisa Marchese and her husband Robert of Fair Haven, Michael Pozai and his wife Lisa of Red Bank, Michele Pozai Sinka of South Amboy and Kristen Pozai of Sayreville, Christopher Balon and his wife Danielle of Parlin, Matthew Balon and his wife Becky of Delaware, and Jessica Balon-Matthews and her husband Cory of Maryland, and 15 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday 9am from the Maliszewski Memorial Home 121 Main Street Sayreville followed by a 9:30am mass at Saint Stanislaus Kostka R. C. Church in Sayreville with burial to follow at Saint Stanislaus Cemetery, Sayreville.

Calling hours at the funeral home will be held Friday from 6pm to 9pm.
