Luba Woydatt age 89 of South River passed away peacefully on Saturday April 23, 2016 at her son’s home in East Brunswick. Born in Belarus she immigrated to the United States in 1956 settling in South River. Before her retirement she was employed as a seamstress with South River Coat Company and a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union. Mrs. Woydatt was a member of Saint Euphrosynia Belarus Orthodox Church in South River.

She is predeceased by her husband Witold Woydatt in 1970. Surviving are her son Walenty Kmiecik and his wife Stanislawa of East Brunswick, her daughter Donna Lukjantshenko and her husband Nikolaj of Perrineville, her grandchildren and their spouses Sabina & Victor Sierpowski, Mary & Mikolaj Widlicki and their daughter Sofia, Peter Kmiecik and his fiancée Chelsea Granholm , Christina Kmiecik, Eric Lukjantshenko and his daughter Maria and Sean Lukjantshenko.

Funeral services will be held Thursday 9:30am from the Maliszewski Funeral Home 218 Whitehead Avenue South River followed by a 10am service at Saint Euphrosynia Belarus Orthodox Church in South River with burial to follow at Saint Euphrosynia Cemetery, South River.

Calling hours at the funeral home will be held Wednesday from 6pm to 9pm. Panahida services with choir will be held Wednesday 7:30pm at the funeral home. Letters of condolence, directions and completed arrangements can be found at www.maliszewskifuneralhome.com
