Obituary for Angel Luis Gonzalez
Sayreville
Angel Luis Gonzalez, age 61 of Sayreville, passed away Sunday March 29, 2015 at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Puerto Rico, Angel had lived in Old Bridge, before moving to Sayreville 13 years ago. He worked as a maintaince man for Norma Apartments in Brooklyn NY for 10 years. Angel was a US Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War.
He is predeceased by his identical twin brother Luis Angel in 1996.
Surviving are his wife of 40 years Elizabeth Gonzalez, his son Alexander and his wife Lizette of Lawrence Harbor, his daughter Samantha of Sayreville, his grandchildren Alexa, Alexander Jr., Julissa, & Angelina, his parents Pedro of Puerto Rice, Maria Ruiz of Manhattan, and his siblings Aida Vargas, Hector, Neraida Cepeda, Letty Olivencia, and Millie Santiago.
Funeral services will be Thursday 10:45am at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane Parlin with burial to follow at the NJ Veterans Cemetery in Wrightstown.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be Wednesday from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm.
