She was indeed a mother to us all in the SEAL family. Someone that selflessly cared for each of us, independent of who we were at SEAL or the titles we carried. She knew about us inside and out, what our likes and dislikes were, our strengths and our weaknesses. She never forgot to ask about my mother and her well-being, she knew exactly what worries me at night and always offered to share my concerns. She knew it all, she was the one to go to if no one else could help. She often fought and got angry when she believed we were wrong, but soon would forgive us as we were like children to her. She worked hard and toiled to make sure that the SEAL ship sailed flawlessly. She had a lot of pieces to pick-up and put together, as she was probably the only own who had the patience and the commitment. She will be missed dearly, she had a beautiful soul.
She was very proud of her family, the accomplishments of her children that she would share, and of course was extremely fond of her grandchildren. My deepest condolences to the entire family.
God bless her and hope she is in a much happier place. She will bring peace and love wherever she goes. It is rightly said “That the good die young”.
Thinking of you Candice.
