Elizabeth L. Tadros, of Parlin, passed away Friday November 21, 2014 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, surrounded by her loving children. Born in Cairo Egypt, she lived in Parlin for over 40 years. Among her accomplishments was a Master’s Degree in English from Rutgers University, where she also worked as an admissions officer and as a financial aid officer for 22 years. She attended Calvary Chapel in Old Bridge where she taught Sunday School in her earlier years and participated in Bible Study Fellowship. After retiring from Rutgers, Elizabeth served as a substitute teacher for the Sayreville school system.
She is predeceased by her husband of 46 years, Abdelnour in 2010.
Surviving are her son Magdy of Pompton Lakes, her daughter Leila of Parlin, her siblings Wedad Asaad, Warda Girgis, Victor Siha and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday 11am from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane Parlin with a 12pm mass at St. Mina’s Coptic Orthodox Church in Holmdel. Burial will follow at Holmdel Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Friday from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm.
