Condolence: I was shocked and saddened by the sudden loss of Betsy. She was such an incredibly cheerful and helpful person. No matter what issue I was having, she knew of a solution. Her happy, "Hi Nance!" was a pleasure to hear and I can hear it still! My thoughts go out to her family at this sad time.

Condolence: Betsy was a one-of-a-kind woman. The energy she brought to MCC was felt amongst faculty and students alike, and her laughter was infectious. She was warm and welcoming since the first day I met her, and she always shared a smile, a hysterical comment, or a private joke no matter the circumstances. I feel proud to have known her and will miss her dearly.

Condolence: Betsy was an amazing woman! She was someone who always was willing to go the extra mile for everyone. She'd start helping students and faculty before she even got into the office. She moved mountains to make things happen and always did so with an incredible sense of humor. She was always willing to listen and also willing to share her own thoughts and ideas (sometimes strong ones!). She made Raritan Hall a vibrant, positive place for all of us. Coming to work at MCC will never be the same without her. She will forever be our beloved Bets....

Condolence: Betsy was a wonderful, helpful individual who will be greatly missed! She never minded when I brought my two curious, rambunctious young children into the office as they re-arranged the rocks on her cabinets and went through her desk! She entertained them as she answered my questions and helped me get started as a new adjunct at MCC. My deepest condolences to her family and friends.

Condolence: Bets was an amazing woman. Warm, whip-smart, witty, compassionate, thoughtful and with a wicked sense of humor, Bets knew what we at MCC needed even if we did not. I found the colored folders I had forgotten I asked her to order on my desk one morning; two tins of smoked trout appeared near my computer; print-outs of Mike's paintings were taped to the walls...Hearing her throaty voice call out to us made us smile, for we knew Bets was in RH and all was well with the MCC world. While "unique" is a word sorely overused, it fit Bets perfectly and in the best sense. What a woman, really.

Condolence: That I w1ll miss her sunny smile and welcoming personality is an understatement. I always wanted to ask her about her license plate, although I had hints of her passion on occasion. Betsy was truly one of the brightest stars at MCC. Her absence will be missed beyond words. Rest in peace.

Condolence: So very sorry to hear of the loss of "Bets" as I liked to call her when I called her office at MCC. She was kind, helpful, warm, and a pleasure to speak with over the phone. I barely know her and I told her I loved her just over a week ago after she helped me arrange my upcoming class...what a kind soul.. She will be missed...

Condolence: I had the pleasure of meeting Betsy at the MCC main campus a few years ago. She was so welcoming and helpful, obviously a nice person with a great personality. Everytime we spoke thereafter, she remained upbeat, funny and caring. Her passing is deeply felt by the MCC New Brunswick Center staff. May God bless the family through this great loss.
